Join us for lunch

60+ Lunch & social

A two-course home-cooked meal, including tea/coffee is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays which is charged at £12/pp.

Various activities are also offered such as light chair yoga on a Monday, shared reading sessions on a Wednesday (the reading aloud of captivating novels, short stories, or poems and reflection on thoughts, feelings, and memories inspired by the readings. There’s no pressure to read aloud or speak – you’re welcome to simply listen and enjoy the experience) and interactive/craft activities.

All lunches need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance and are served at 12.30pm.

Join us for a fish & chips and bingo

Fish and chips & prize bingo

On the last Friday of every month, we serve delicious, fresh fish & chips from McDermotts, plus a dessert at a cost of £12/pp. This is followed by a number of rounds of prize bingo and raffles. It is a very lively lunch session and very popular, so definitely needs to be booked well in advance

Local Minibus

The Clubhouse has a 10-seater minibus, which is driven by security-checked volunteers, together with a passenger assistant who helps clients on and off the minibus and provides a door-to-door service. It is available for those who are unable to get to the Clubhouse independently (within a 1.5 mile radius of the Clubhouse), but at this stage is unable to accommodate wheelchair users. The cost for the minibus is £2.50 per person, per trip.

Are you an unpaid carer?

Carers' Support Hub

The Carers’ Support Hub aims to bridge the gap between carers and support services, offering a welcoming and easily accessible space where carers can receive guidance, and connect with others in similar circumstances.

It is held on the last Tuesday of every month from 11:30-13:00pm

No need to book, just drop in and enjoy tea, coffee, cake, and conversation in a warm, welcoming space where you can:

✔ Speak with professionals about help and resources

✔ Meet other carers who understand
